"Assault" complete:

Finally complete. I can't tell how many sheeps I abused just to bring it to completion. Their squeals kept me awake all night.

WIP(Cont.): "Assault"

Rendering progress after additional 8 hours. Mind's pretty empty as I have no idea how things should look like. Ended up "trial and error"ing on the piece itself.

WIP: "Assault"

A work in progress. I intend to send this to the upcoming Frank Frazetta Tribute Gallery. Spent plenty of hours working on "rubbish" which I altered into something readable.
Tried skipping a lot of procedures like working with colors instead of monotone value.
...
Ended up going back to monotone (some parts of it) as I am quite used to the process already.
Gonna push a lot more hours into this piece before I get back to my 3D sculpting.

WIP...

Just need more fixings to the lighting and shadows and I should be able to color this piece. The more time I spend on the drawing, the more I tend to pick on it and change the details. Even more time is then spent and the cycle repeats itself.

Blueprint to the next modeling project...

Designed this character with modeling in mind. Though I just need to have an uncolored version in order to start modeling, I figured I might as well start working on the color scheme and texture feel. Went the extra mile by adding some presentable finish.

It's not easy to sculpt fats, cloth and hard surface convincingly, so it is an important challenge for me. If I continue with stuffs that I'm comfortable with, my skills will stagnate. Not something I'd want.
